11 Simple ways to crack Mppsc pre 2017

Hello Guys.I have cleared mppsc state service exam prelims 3 times and want to share some very simple and basic things which might also help you to clear this exam provided you are serious about this and study regularly.

Mppsc pre 2017 is very near i.e. on 10th of feb 2017.

Lets discuss some helpful books and material for it.

Mppsc or any civil service exam is  heavily dependent on Two broad broad fields. Static and current affairs.

A. Static Portion covering basics of Geography, History,Economy,Polity,Environment Science and Science and Technology.

For this portion we should cover following things

1) Ncerts from 6 to 12- Believe me i have found many mscqs in prelims directly from chapter end exercises copy pasted.Buy an M.P.  map and study mp geography through that map.Its proven that things learned through visual graphics tend to stay in memory for long.

2) Any GS manual. I find lucent gk very good because it covers every subject and trivial gk also.Its like a short note book.See syllabus and find that syllabus in lucent and just learn it by heart.

3) Learn atleast initial 51 articles containing Fundamental Rights and Directive Principles AND all 12 SCHEDULES from constitution.They will always help you in pre and mains.You will thank me later for this :)

4) For Mp static part i found upkar publications' MP sampoorna adhyan quite nice but you can choose any mp gk book depending upon your taste.They all are almost same.

5) Acts mentioned in syllabus : On an average 5 to 6 question are always asked in the prelims about these acts.Its like some of the question are already out you just need to learn and understand these acts.You should Rattofy these acts because the question asked are very memory based for e.g. which section of the act talks about this? kind of questions. these 10 to 12 marks can make all the difference.

6) SOLVE MCQs daily from some website or app.

B. Current Portion: 

7)Any newspaper like patrika, dainik bhaskar will do.

8)Latest Economic Survey and Budget summary of Union govt as well as state govt.

9)For daily relevant news you can prefer some websites like Insights daily current affairs. GK today

10)One way to remain up to date with current affairs is watching the speeches of PM and CM.They give lot of information about new initiatives.Watching news channels like DD news is very helpful. 

11) Solve the last 4 or 5 years question papers.Some questions are repeated every year.
